Rescue Systems 2


This is a five day (40 hour) course. The course provides advanced heavy rescue system techniques. Key topics include: Structural building types, wood and mechanical shores, crib capacities, floor weight calculations, building search, confined space considerations, damaged structure hazard assessment, use of power tools, air bags, and US&R ICS.

Prerequisites: I-200, Rescue Systems 1

This class is taught in cooperation with Santa Ana College Fire Technology Department. ​Upon completion students will receive .8 unit of community college credit through Santa Ana College in addition to a California State Fire Marshal Certificate.​​
